Let me just say: Canva did NOT come to play at Canva Create 2025. From the stadium setup to the new tool rollouts, this conference was one for the books.

I joined over 4,000 creative professionals at the iconic SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. And while the LA traffic wasn’t exactly a highlight (give me my peaceful Alabama highways any day!), everything else was an absolute visual dream. For just $125, we had early access to some of the most exciting design innovations I’ve seen in a long time.
🎨 Favorite Feature: The Visual Suite
I can’t keep 14 design tabs open while juggling social media calendars and email campaigns. The new Visual Suite is the multitasking magic I’ve been waiting for. Canva has consolidated its design tools into one clean, seamless workspace. It’s about to become my go-to for everything—from social media graphics and event decks to annual reports and internal communications. For corporations and nonprofits alike, this suite streamlines workflow, enhances brand consistency, and boosts collaboration across departments.
💻 Canva Code: A Close Second
My last coding experience was customizing a MySpace page—so when I say Canva Code made me feel like a tech pro, I mean it. This new feature empowers creatives to add logic and functionality to designs without needing a programming background. It’s a game-changer for organizations that want to create dynamic, interactive content without a dev team on standby.
✨ The Experience
From interactive photo booths to a surprise musical performance in the YouTube Theater, this event had serious main character energy. The glowing wristbands added a whimsical touch, and the attention to detail across every element of the experience was top-tier.
Vendors were intentionally selected and incredibly helpful—whether you were chatting with teams from Meta, Adobe, or Shopify. The corporate presence wasn’t just about brand visibility; it was about integrating tools that actually enhance how teams work together.
LinkedIn also had a full content creator area designed specifically to help business professionals navigate their templates for video content. It was a hub of expert guidance, inspiration, and practical tips—especially useful for brands looking to level up their video marketing on the platform.
The hands-on sessions? Fully equipped with laptops. We didn’t make it into any (they filled up FAST), but after seeing the setup, we understood the hype. It’s not easy to accommodate 4,000 attendees with tech, but Canva tried—and did so with style.
Lunch was on-site, and while the prices made me miss Alabama a little more, the convenience and variety were on point. Staff were friendly, sessions were well-paced, and everything ran smoothly.
One standout moment was a powerhouse panel featuring reps from Duolingo, Maximum Effort, and Liquid Death. They dropped brand gems and spicy hot takes under the California sun—pure creative gold.
💸 Worth Every Penny
Between the swag, the complimentary software access, the networking, and the electric energy of being surrounded by fellow creatives, Canva Create was more than worth the $125 ticket. Next year, I’m arriving early and signing up for every hands-on session the second registration opens.
